If you are having issues with content playback in Echo360 as a result of Adobe Flash Player, try the following sites:

Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac

Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier

Check your browser preferences to ensure you have Adobe Flash Player enabled in your browser.

  • This page has some information on enabling it in Safarihttps://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/enabling-flash-player-safari.html
  • For Chrome, go to this page: Chrome://plugins and tick the “Always allowed to run” for Adobe Flash Player.
  • For Firefox, click the menu button and choose add-ons. The add-ons Manager tab will open. Select the plugins panel.  Look for shockwave flash on your list and set it to ask to activate
  • For playback of downloaded captures:  You can open the echo_desktop.swf file in Adobe Flash Player Beta Standalone program with full functionality.  The Flash Player Beta Standalone program can be found at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html
